3D Printing is Revolutionary 3D printing has caught the eye of many people in the world, with all different types of needs. 3D printing could change the world in so many possible ways. It could cure hunger, end homelessness, help people with diseases, help fix pollution, and may lower the demand for money. A 3D printer may also be used in health, to cure people of diseases, for transplants, and used as a prosthetic. In today’s world, in every country, there are so many people without enough food in their day. According to the New York Times, an entire meal was created from a 3D printer for a man and his wife that included pizza, pasta, and dessert. If it’s easy enough to make simple everyday foods like that, it would be so entirely easy to solve some of the world’s hunger. A 3D printer is also now believed to be able to solve some of the world’s homelessness. A Chinese company made ten homes in one day with a 3D printer. This printer that the company used was approximately 10 meters wide by 6.6 meters tall. The homes were also sprayed with concrete to build the walls layer by layer. The ability to do this may cause at least a small drop in homelessness but such fast production would also allows for housing to be far more affordable if construction is done this fast. Scientists are currently working on trying to print human organs on 3D printers. This process is called bioprinting and “it uses an “ink” of stem cells to produce 3D shapes that can be places into the human body, where hopefully the cells will be accepted by the existing tissues.” Also, artificial limbs are being created with 3D printers. A boy lost both of his arms to a bombing in Sudan, and now is able to use an artificial arm to change his life. Scientists are also printing body parts ranging from plastic skulls to artificial eyes. 3D printing may also reduce the demand for money. If using one in a community, a 3D printer can
