Drive Safe
Drive Safe! People should be aware that every second someone dies in crash simply from not putting his/her seat belt, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Web Site. Speeding, tailgating, giving the finger and outright violence. Each day Americans grow more and more likely to take out their personal frustrations on other drivers. It is called aggressive driving and it is on the incline and it is one more problem drivers should avoid. And third thing which should be stopped while driving is texting, nowadays people are too much addicted to their phone, that much that they use them even while they are driving. Avoiding all these hazardous activities while driving will decrease accident number, death, save people’s lives and prevent from serious injuries. At the end of 80s and at the beginning of the 90s 3300 lives were saved by the using of seat belt and child restraint systems. (Espino Organization, 1997) And nowadays no seat belt leading cause of death in 2013 in fatal crashes. (Utah Valley 360) When people are driving or even just riding in a vehicle, buckling seat belt will decrease their chance to death or serious injury, if they get in a serious accident. There are many excuses for not wearing a seat belt, such that they are uncomfortable. An example of other excuse is: “It will not happen to me, I am a good driver”, but it can happen to everybody does not matter how good or bad driver we are. Not just death is result for not wearing a seat belt, being charged by police, government is one of the results. There is simple solutions for this problem: Wear your seat belt! This could be reached in many ways, first that we drivers should consider is that wearing a seat belt is law supported actions. It is not question of our wish, every drivers is supposed to wear seat belt and not just drivers, others next to drivers who are in a vehicle at that time. People think that it only takes a second to type that text and hit send.
