Driving Persuasive Speech
"Jesse, slow down!" and "Um, why is TJ's phone still in your car, Jesse?" are some of the many phrases I heard all weekend long. Many late night car rides occurred during my weekend, but this one in particular was by far the most memorable. While riding through the back roads of Nettleton, Mississippi, out of boredom, Jesse and I had to pick up TJ, her boyfriend, from seeing his grandmother in the hospital. Before I get into anymore details, I should probably go into informing you how bad of a driver Jesse is. She defiantly had a need for speed and is constantly trying to arrive at her destination as soon as she can. Since I have informed you about her lead foot and her inpatient driving skills, I'll get back to describing my weekend. Driving
through late hours of the night, we finally reached the hospital. As we were circling the parking lot searching for a parking place, we discovered half way through that we had entered in the "one way only" entrance; unfortunately, we had entered in the opposite direction. We had only noticed this by almost colliding into a car head on in the dead of night. Thankfully, we made it through the parking lot alive, without a wreck, and successfully parked. When we had reached TJ, it was already August 15, 2015 at 12:00 a.m., thirty minutes pasted Jesse's restricted licenses. Driving illegally through the town of Tupelo, Mississippi, we passed a number of cops waiting for the right person to zoom past. Our nerves were running ragged by the excitement that we had faced earlier that day. Fortunately we had made it possible to arrive back at Jesse's house without getting blue lighted or stopped through the horrendous road block. My weekend was defiantly one for the books.
