Unlike most people, that has vehicles of their own to transport them from and to their location. But other people they don’t have that advantage, they would have to take public transportation, such as taxis and especially the city buses. For the employees know that their workplace is at safety, also for the consumers are sure that they are in good services, especially employees should be drug tested before and after being hired, that is why it should required that every person do a drug test for a public transportation job.
The workplace safety is the main reason for employees to be drug tested. Companies that require employees to perform on any type of machinery, drive, and work with consumers or do manual labor often require drug testing for the safety of everyone involved. Pre-employment drug testing is direct to save employees from any harm, as well as the public in general to make sure consumers are absolute that employees are working skillfully. Many public services advise this to the public to gain trust and attract consumers to their products or services.
Consumers want to feel safe and that they are in good services. Once they board that bus or jump into that cab, they are already thinking that the employee will be able to take care of them and as employee prove to the consumer that they are in good services. Meaning, the consumers are absolute sure that the employee will be able to take them to their destination safe and un-harmed. So, the drug testing provides a bit of proof on an employee’s record, which they are not on drugs or alcohol while you be working with an automobile with a consumer in the employee’s service.
