In the story “Circus in town” and “‘Happyness’ for sale”, both the protagonist face difficult situations. However, in the end, they both solve the problem successfully. Optimism plays an significant role in both of their process of solving their problem. Optimism provides energy for the two characters; it gives them power to address the difficulties. 1.In “‘Happyness’ for sale”, Chris Gardner had the world on his shoulders during his study at Dean Witter’s training program.
