    Most of these drugs have been proven to be efficient when tested in animal subjects. The drugs are capable of slowing down the progression of the disorder and making the symptoms less prevalent. The two most effective drugs used are miconazole and clobetasol. These had the ability of “promoting precocious myelination in organotypic cerebellar slice cultures, and in vivo in early postnatal mouse pups” (Najm, F.J. et al).
