EPO Case Study Scenarios
Gina stated that her grandmother, later identified as Virginia Gonzales DOB: 5/20/2016, was in another room but that she was able to hear Johnny hitting her. Virginia stated that she came out of her room because she heard a loud noised that sounded as if someone hit the wall or had fallen. Virginia also heard Johnny screaming profanity at Gina. Virginia said that when she came out, Johnny had taken Gina’s phone and was threating to kill her and break her phone.
Gina stated that Johnny had hit her before and that she reported to the Police. Gina also she wanted to press charges and that she wanted an EPO.
While Police officers interviewed both Gina and Virginia, Johnny was making calls after calls to Gina’s phone number. Johnny also sent
Gina messages stating that he was going to kill her and that he was going to wait for Gina at her job and kill her. Gina’s little cousin stated that Jonny passed by in a gray vehicle while officers were inside the apartment.
