We are in NFL season! Wouldnt it be great to watch the game with a plate of chicken wings? I say Yes! Therefore, visit Buffalo Wild Wings. They have a wide range of flavors which I love. You can find the chain restaurant almost anywhere. I usually eat at Buffalo Wide Wings at Forrest Hils just because it is closer to me. I recommend to be extremely patient. They usually don't have enough waiters for a number of people that go to eat there.I usually wait 10 to 30 minutes just to get a table, then 30 to 60 minutes for the waiter to arrive with the food. Although it takes forever I still see myself gravitating to the restaurant when I'm craving wings. The menu has different prices for the wings, it all depends on a number of wings.Usually, prices…

Have you ever seen someone somewhere and said, “Where do I know that person from?” On September 23, 2010, my classmates and I attended a Huntsville City Council regular meeting held in the City Council Chambers. I expected to see businessmen, politicians and other white-collar individuals from around the city. I expected to be bored and not hear anything interesting. One thing I learned very early was always judge first-hand.…

The first memory I have of the Pantry was as a child and I would go up to the attic of the old farm-house on 1063 N. Dugan Rd., Urbana, Ohio. My parents, Harry and Donna Dachenbach, moved from the farm of John Yordy on St. Rt. 36 where my sister was born, to the farm on Dugan Rd. This would have been about 1937 or 38. The house was a very large two-story house with a long attic that was scary for a young boy because it was dark, dusty and filled with junk and trash. There was a pair of broken boards between the two sides of the attic that my sister told me, “If you fall through the break, you will fall all the way to the basement”. Though an absolute falsehood, I sucked it up and always gave a wide berth to the broken boards. There was a large family living on the farm before Mom and Dad moved in, I believe their name was Hess. Back in the late 1800's – early 1900's a family by the name of James owned and lived in the house. The pantry was stored up in the attic against one end and was covered in dust and bird poop. After we got a TV and I got to see “Captain Video and his Video Ranger”, the Pantry became my space ship console (no color TV…

A younger Boston had survived the turmoil of British rule and the American Revolution. As a tribute to its past, the former home of Revolutionary hero Paul Revere stood at the north end of the growing city not far from the Old North Church where Revere warned the Patriots of an impending British arrival. But Boston was also growing and changing with the new times, especially in the area of Boston known as the North End.…

Sara Teasdale is an American lyrical poet born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1884. Throughout her childhood and adulthood, she suffered from many illnesses. This caused her to be homeschooled until she was well enough to be put in school, which finally came at the age of nine. Teasdale finished school in 1903 after going to three different schools and battling many more illnesses along the way. She was an accomplished writer of poetry shortly after finishing school and she has had many poems published to multiple different sources. Her poems have also been used as lyrics for many choral pieces and she has won awards for her collection of poems entitled “Love Songs”. In the United States, slavery was permitted for hundreds of years allowing for the slaves and indentured servants to be treated unjustly. The country that was so proud of their freedom was in fact not free for all; those of color or ethnicity were discriminated against. Men, women and even children were treated as property instead of human beings solely because of their heritage. Although slavery in the United States no longer exists there are still effects of this horrific time in today’s society. The Kitchen House is an accurate portrayal of indentured servitude and the brutality inhumane slave conditions pre-civil war. Kathleen Grissom clearly…

"The Luncheon" by W. Somerset is a wonderfully written story, but the variation by Jeffrey Archer is equally as enticing. Both narratives tell of an author who is struggling to make ends meet, but sees his big break at a very expensive luncheon. I like both of the stories because although they have the same plot the twists at the end make them completely different. At first I wondered how the same story could be comparable, let only different, but I was wrong.…

With being an athlete, if we don’t get a good lunch or eat enough at lunch, at practice we are very slow and crabby. Our stomachs are cramping because we have no food. After lunch when we go to our afternoon classes we can’t focus on the class because our stomachs are growling and making us think about food. Logan view should have an open campus lunch because we are here for many hours, school lunches are gross, and many kids go without a meal during the day which effects their learning.…
