This relates to the determiners of weight section of the class. This relates to that topic because although people might follow some strict diets to lose weight in class we learned that weight can be biological like it is in animals. Furthermore,
we also learned that the way we eat determines our weight and also that there are things that we need to do in order to maintain a certain weight. Also we learned that when someone stops eating they tend to lose weight but their fatty cells tend to enlarge and that causes the individual to gain even more weight because his fatty cells are now larger because when you stop eating your body tends to store fat that can be used as energy.
This is important for the reader because if someone is planning to lose weight the best option is not to go on a diet because even thought they might lose weight at first they are going to regain it in the future and that is going to cause an increase in weight ones they are done with the diet. Also it is important to know that the human body needs water and in order to maintain a healthy diet people need to drink water because some people confuse hunger with thirst and they tend to eat more than what they should and that leads to an increase in weight. However the biology of animals might be different than that of a human and it’s important to keep that in mind when reading this article.
This article does a good job in examining some psychological concepts. The reason for this is that a lot of research is involved in this article and is well supported by different researchers. I feel that most of what is said is accurate and none of it is misleading because most of what the article mentions at one point of the semester we talked about it.
