There are many students who want to go to college but do not have the funds to do so. Is college something that you must do in order to be successful in life? A lot of students fresh out of high school question themselves and the education system when they graduate. It is no doubt that a college education is something that helps you achieve a job. But now and days there are people with master degrees that work at McDonalds because they are over qualified to work at the places in their field. Do you really want to go to school for 5 to 6 years to work at McDonalds because you are over qualified?
Income inequality is the gap between the rich and the poor. It is the difference between indivisual people or groups of people (populations) and thier income or way of money. Economic inequality basically means the difference between societies and economic foundations, for ex. Capitalism or socialism. One way to measure the economic inequality is the Gini coefficient. Income inequality effects education in that the more money you have the better education you can receive. If you pay for your child’s education from an early age resources and education that are available to them is different then ones that are provided in public school.
The lowincome students do not have equal access to education as to those who can afford private schools. There are some public school education programs that are in some ways just as effiecent or better then private school programs. Individual’s can save for college by setting up a bank account or systematically putting money aside to lighten up the load of student loans. You can also apply for various different scholarship programs that aid money to students who want to go to college but are lacking in the funds to do so.
Based on the four colleges I researched I have seen that there are 4 kinds of colleges.
Community college; private college; 4 years college, and
