Ecumenical Efforts Report: Directions: Choose one of the following Popes and research their ecumenical work.

Pope Francis The report must include the following: I. Provide at least three specific examples of ecumenical accomplishments. In other words, what did the Pope do to work for the unity of Christians? These should include specific details that answer the following questions:
A. What type of accomplishment? Was it a document? A joint statement?
A meeting or conference?
B. What are the specific details like the location, date, and who was involved. C. Why was it important?
D. What are your sources? Include at least one website/article link.

Find one article on the internet that addresses at least one of the accomplishments.
Provide the link and a paragraph summary of the article’s content.

Provide at least two images from the internet depicting your chosen Pope promoting unity among Christians. (Example: A Pope pictured speaking to a predominantly
Lutheran congregation)

Provide one quote from your chosen Pope addressing some aspect of ecumenism and include a brief explanation in your own words.
