Edgar Allan Poe's Kidnapping

Evidence states that Poe was a victim of a kidnapping,which led to his death. One of many assumptions of how Poe died was that he had "congestion of the brain" when he had died. Poe also suffered from heart disease. By suffering from heart disease and lung cancer from his alcoholic ways, it made his health decrease.
Poe had a drinking problem, so he could have died from alcoholism. No one really knows how Poe died and it is kind of suspicious that he was found like that in Baltimore,Maryland,if he was not drinking or overdosing on medicine somewhere. It has been said that poor nutrition and a weakened condition brought on by other illnesses could have entitled his intense episodes of drinking. The repercussion was fever,hallucination, and
craziness, and in a few days an end of his sad career in the hospital. Poe suffered from some of these symptoms throughout most of his life. Brain Congestion could have caused Poe’s death also. His drinking problem could have added to this. Poe had some sort of abrasions on the brain and suffered from brain fever. Poe would die from imprudent nervous exhaustion and loss of nerve power, resulting from exposure ,and affecting the brain. (Source).
Poe died from a kidnapping incident and other medical/mental disorders or diseases. Some gangs were known to kidnap innocent bystanders, holding them in a room. He was cruelly beaten, blow upon blow, by a delinquent who knew of no better mode of avenging supposed injuries. It is well known that a brain fever followed.
