Education
The role of schools is to provide education to students. Educate means to not just provide skill; it is also a place to establish mentally, or morally. Without helping students understand moral and social issues the schools are not even meeting its basic requirements. Schools are intended to make students better people in the world but if they aren’t helping students how to deal with real world situations then they aren’t making a difference. Schools are responsible to make the world a better place by educating students but they aren’t doing a good job at that. Educated people are not only the ones that went to school and have some type of career. Educated people are the ones who understand moral choices and social issues. Understanding morals are supposed to be thought by parents and most schools would say that, however students spend most of their day at school wish means that schools have a big affect on how the students learn. I understand that schools have to also train people for jobs and getting students into college but they also have to help students with also the issues we are going to be facing. Students have to be able to handle social issues because at some point everyone will have to deal with it somehow. One of the things that it’s understandable for me is that we learn things that we won’t use the it the real world, we won’t need all those trigonometry equations unless it has to do with what carrier you choose to do, I wished they thought us how to save money for example or how to become a better person is sociality. Yes I believe schools should be responsible for helping students understand different issues because that’s they’re job. Many would day that that’s their parents jobs but in some cases parents won’t teach and help the students and if they don’t then who will? If we want better people we first have to make them better people in the way that we would be able to help solve issues then educate them to become successful by helping them get a job and preparing them to get into college.
