In survey research, the methodology or the instruments used are: interviews and questionnaires.
In this research scenario, the survey instruments used by the author are questionnaire and interviews conducted with the marketing employees of EBM to get an in-depth knowledge and current status of the workforce.
Questionnaires:
Questionnaires are a written set of questions that the audience answers depicting how & what they think, do, or feel. The typical questions found are closed-ended questions, which are multiple choice. The audience is given a set of options to choose from and the input of the audience’s opinion is limited. Nevertheless, there are questions that are open-ended to explore the answers of the respondents.
A questionnaire can be a mix of open and close ended questions.
The questionnaire drafted in task 1.3 is majorly close ended. Questionnaires shall be given to every marketing employee and shall be paper and pen based conducted at the head office premises.
The questionnaire will be used as a basis to ask interview questions to get a deeper outlook of every employee’s opinions.
