The artifact am reflecting on is my Ela artifact. In my monologue I wrote about my life experience of moving to some place else to live, and how that changed and affected me as a person. In my mask I created a face were half was all about pain being afraid. The other half of my mask represents change how my moving changed me in a positive way .

With the help of my Ela teacher brainstorming her lessons on inner and outer feelings, symbolism, theme. I gathered it’s not about your story it’s about how you write and express it like you're there in the moment. In my artifact my last paragraph i spoke about how i was challenged to change but i did. I didn’t have a lot of confidence but expressing my feelings gave me more and more faith.

The most challenging thing about making sure my mask reflects the thoughts and theme of my monologue was making sure it reflected what my monologue was feeling. It wasn’t that easy to pick up a mask and start designing you had to think things through . My monologue represents being afraid and changing which my mask did turn out to display my themes .
