Abstract
Elelwani Ramugondo is a woman occupational therapist. She is the Head of the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape town in South Africa. Elelwani has many different key areas where she researches in. Overall, Elelwani is an activist in many parts of occupational therapy and that is the reason as to why she has impacted the occupational therapy world today. She is a strong believer and has impacted the lives of many with her works. While traveling throughout the world with her husband, Frank Kronenberg, she has passed on her research findings to other occupational therapist so they too can either change the world in the ways they hope to or follow her footsteps and keep the positive occupational therapy practice going.
Elelwani Ramungundo
Elelwani Ramugundo is a renowned occupational therapist who is married to Frank Kronenberg and has two daughters. She lives in Cape Town South Africa and is currently the Head of the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town. In becoming the Head of the Occupational Therapy program, she was a researcher in “Epistemologies & Relevance in Occupational Therapy Practice & Education” (Ramugondo). With that being her main research point, she also has done research in other key areas. Elelwani has accomplished an overall thesis, worked with HIV positive mothers and their children, researched spirituality in occupational therapy and is a children’s play activist as well as everyday observation. She travels around the world to share her research and stories to change the lives of patients and change how occupational therapist treat patients.
