Emelyy Father Passed Away Analysis

According to the text, time means everything in this story, after the pass four decades and be stock trying to solve the problem of her life, Emely goes through a tough times. This story begins very sad in the middle of the death of Emily’s dad something that affected her for the rest of her life. The whole community attended to the funeral to support the family. Emily lived many years in a abandoned house that formerly looked like the most beautiful of the town but then looked like the ugliest because after all that sadness that had happened. She lived in a very bad stage of her life remembering when she was a young girl living with her Dad.

In the beginning of the story Miss Emely father passed away and was a huge mental problem for her because env thought he was a very jealous father, she really loved him. But he always wanted to dominate her in every aspect of life her life, that she learned to live with that fear every second of her life. of doing she couldn't do anything because she knew that her father would not let her do anything, she couldn't do things that a normal
girl would do. Her father lived in a time where daughter weren't allow to do much, he pretty much controlled every move that when her dad passed away it was hard for her because she got used to the way her dad treated her, she couldn't do things on her own. “it was a big, squarish frame house that had once been white, decorated with cupolas and spires and scrolled balconies in the heavily lightsome style of the seventies” after his death, she really didn’t want to change anything in the house she tried keep to his body in the same bed so people wont find out that she had her dad in the same room. Also, she stayed stuck in the house without wanting to change anything by living in something very ugly because she does not want her neighbors to know the crazy things she was doing.

Emely lived a very sad life because after all that time she wasted doing things to see her dad happy and she just created hate from everyone because she was living in a ugly situation that never really care to changed anything in her life.
Living a weird life according to everyone around her community and remembering her Dad in such a weird way that anyone couldn't understand, wearing old clothes, and acting different to everyone. “after her Father’s death she went out very little” she wasted two years to find a husband the one we believed that was going married her but at some point he was gone too. They didn't see him at all, she was just spending the entire time at home. The only sign that was in the community was a guy that used to go in and out with a market basket bag for her that was the only guy that have contact with her, he pretty much did everything for
her.
