“Someone may think that physical abuse is far worse than emotional abuse, since physical violence can send someone to the hospital and leave a person with scars. Depression can also affect a person’s outlook on life, which may lead to the feeling of hopelessness. This could most likely affect a person’s ability to make proper decisions and can impact his or her thought process. If a person is being physically abused, then it is obvious that they are in an abusive relationship. Some people don’t realize that they are in an abusive relationship if it is emotional abuse. If someone feels l afraid most of the time, a partner criticizes and puts a person down, threatens, or even is obsessively jealous then that is being in an abusive relationship.
