Imagine if, from the age of six, you grew up in a school where the smartest kids in the world were trained to be ruthless military commanders, and on top of that the school is in outer space. That was the world Ender Wiggin grew up in. I don't know about you but that doesn't sound like a normal childhood to me. Let me explain, the year is roughly 2100, In order to develop an unbreakable defense against an aggressive alien race's next offensive, government agencies make child geniuses and train them as commanders.
