A big question people ask these days, “Will I shop online or in the store today?” Naturally, there are pros and cons to both approaches. Have you ordered something on-line and it’s not what you thought it was? We are going to look at shopping for clothes. The size (fit), price, and the use of a credit/debit card.

For online shoppers, there is the comfort of shopping in your pajamas, the convenience of doing it any time. The privilege of avoiding long lines and crowded stores. It helps when you can’t get out to an actual store, or to order a specific size you can only get online. It is a great way to pass the time, or secretly shop for a friend or family member without them knowing.

Another thing to think about is price. Sometimes you can find a better price online versus going into a store and vice versa. Many online stores will offer a discount or free shipping if you spend a certain amount of money. The thing about online is more expensive because of the shipping and handling unless the store has free shipping and handling of course.

However, be careful with what you buy, something might look really good online but when you get it the color is wrong or it’s bad quality, doesn’t fit right or so on. One drawback for shopping online is when you receive the item it may not look the way you thought it did in the pictures and if it's clothing it may not fit the way you thought it would. Only buy stuff online from brands that you trust. There are some things that you just not sure what you are getting. Plus your purchase could get lost in the mail.

One drawback is the possibility that some hacker could access your financial information. Just know that anytime you put your personal information on the web, the risk runs high for hacker. There is one thing you have to worry about is computer hackers stealing your credit card information. Never use your debit card because if this information is

Discounts are offered both online and in store, that makes it easy for the buyer to purchase products at lower prices. The individual, who chooses to buy in-store, has certain shopping hours in order to receive a discount or closeout price. The online customer needs to have a promotional code in order to get the best deals. Online stores also offer free shipping to get the customer to buy online. The customer will save money no matter how they decide to buy because both options offer ways to save money. The downfall with shopping online is the consumer has to wait for the product to arrive and to pay the shipping costs. The customer pays for shipping in the form of filling up his or her gas tank to drive to the store. The shipping cost is about the same if not more than if the individual drove to the store to purchase the product. If consumers discover that the item they have already purchased is offered at a lower price later on they will return it and repurchase it. Two benefits from shopping in-store are getting out of the house and physical activity from walking around a store. Another benefit for shoppers is the instant satisfaction of taking purchased items home instead of waiting for the products to be shipped. Shopping in a store allows people to try on clothes, test out a couch or chair to see if it is comfortable, or watch a television to see how clear the picture is. These are aspects of in-store shopping that people enjoy and are willing to overlook the inconveniences because of them. Whether you prefer to buy online…

Shelf space in a brick and mortar shop is limited. This means that the variety of goods in the store is limited as well. However, this is not the case with an online shop. In an online shop you can get to see products of various styles, sizes, and colors than that available in a brick and mortar shop. Moreover, if you don’t get to see what you require in one shop online, you can move on to the next one to find the product/service of your choice.…

One of the great choices that we have in the modern world today is whether to shop online or actually go to the brick and mortar store and do our shopping. While both offer great sales and promotions along with great selections from which to choose, they both have pros and cons which must be considered in order to determine which of the two choices offer the best shopping option. In-store shopping offers the buyer the opportunity to inspect and compare the items being considered for purchase along with sales people who can assist or aide the buyer with any problems or concerns that the buyer may encounter while shopping in the store in contrast to online shopping which limits the senses and the ability to compare because the items can’t actually be held or touched. Online shopping offers the buyer the convenience of shopping from the comfort of their home without all the crowds or having to travel to various stores which could be considered the best shopping experience, depending on the buyers’ personal shopping preference. Weighing the options that both online and in-store shopping offer the individual buyer will help that buyer determine which of the two modern day choices works best for their individual shopping needs.…

We all know that shopping requires us to go to the mall or department store. Now we live in the age of internet and buying things can now be done by clicking a mouse. Shopping in the stores require more time than shopping online. A trip to the mall could take two to three hours transportation time. You may spend many hours looking for the right products or in the lines trying to just purchase it. On the other hand, online shopping cuts out the time spent on transportation and walking from store to store. Unlike shopping at stores, you do not have to wait in a line or wait till the shop assistant is ready to help you with your purchases. Online shopping gives us the opportunity to shop freely without assistance and 24x7. Another difference between shopping at stores and shopping online that we also considered is the quality of products. When shopping at stores, you can feel or see the items you want to buy, so you can decide to buy or not. When shopping online, you cannot test or examine the products; you have to buy the items relying purely on a photograph or description. When shopping online, it’s difficult to return products which we are not satisfied with. Shopping in stores makes it easier to deal with such problems as returning, exchanging and using the warranty. There are many more reasons why you should or should not shop online or in stores. I hope that the above examples help you on making a decision on how you would like to shop in the…

Online shopping can have disadvantages to it too. You’d have to wait a few days to get your item. Shipping and handling costs can get really expensive, especially if you want your items within the next few days of purchasing it. It’s a pain to return things if they don’t work for you either and a lot of times you aren’t reimbursed for shipping charges. Also when you shop online you won’t be able to try on clothes to make…

When it comes to seeing, touching, and trying out a new product, there is no substitute for actually going to the mall and examining the item in person. You cannot always tell what the merchandise is really like by seeing a picture of it on the Web. The color may be somewhat different online than it appears in real life. The exact size and proper fit may be critical when it comes to clothing. On the other hand, if you want to buy a product that you have already used and are familiar with, the hands-on experience may not be so important.…

The advantages of online shopping are big. The only real significant danger happens when a criminal creates a comparable web page to the protected page you will see when purchasing, and engineers it so your details are sent to them. These pages are really easy to identify once you learn what to look for. If there isn't a “https” at the front end of the URL, like the one at Target Stores Online, do not use that page. Provided you be cautious about this clear attempt at fraud, you ought to be secure while shopping at online discount stores. This does not always mean that the advantages of online shopping are dependable, and will sell you top quality items with a sensible price tag.…
