Chased by the Dust from his Feet
In October 1978 a Haitian mother gave birth to a baby boy after an unusual eighteen-month period of pregnancy. Unusual and retarded, was the length of pregnancy, while two parties of ancestral devils were fighting, one for the life and the one for death of the baby his birth. A spiritual warfare still going on as the baby was growing and causing fatal impact in the baby’s life. The baby was always sick since he would under severe evil attack. At night evil spirit would turn into animal such as owl, cat, snake, dog and they would run, crawl, under the roof or even inside of the house. And the mother would also feel a constant presence, an invisible and evil presence which frightened, and made her hair always arise. And the baby would not fall asleep for moment without screaming, hesitate. In fact, he was under terrifying spiritual threat. If the mother fall asleep for while she would already had a nightmare he would fight a monster, supernatural creatures.
They had a miserable life. However this mother had faith in her strength, in God, or any god, and she used to consult doctors and witchdoctors in order to find a solution. And as soldier never drop his gun, her baby was always in his arms …show more content…
He never wants to distant from her mother. If he want make or go make poo her mother should accompany him. When send him somewhere farther to buy something, or if for any reason, he went somewhere which is distant on the farm, he would feel someone walking or something like snake crawling behind him through the path. Once he felt this sensation, he had nothing to but running to get back even if he had not yet fulfill the task had to. Either in the half of his way, or anywhere he would run to get back without taking time to look behind him for he did not want what monster was running after
