Step by step: How to make a 5 minute brownie with your microwave.

Brownies are one of the world’s greatest, yet one of the simplest deserts. Hot gooey texture, bursting with the warm tastes of cocoa. A sensation floods your body that leaves you craving more. If only there was a way of making one quick and easy, within a matter of minutes, I hear you say? Well then it just so happens to be your lucky day! For I will be giving you the steps to creating a mouth-watering, 5 minute substitute to your traditional home baked brownie recipe. I guarantee to leave you well satisfied, though I must warn you … addicted thou may become.
I first stumbled upon this secret recipe when looking for some feel-good food on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I needed something that wouldn’t leave me slaving away over a hot stove, or work up a sweat into a mixing bowl. Something sweet and full of stodge; yet able to whip up while the tv ads were on. When I first saw the link for a “5 minute microwave brownie” I honestly thought it was going to be a feature of a children’s easy bake oven, that has brownies provided and they’re able to heat them; but mistaken I was. With some experimenting and tweaks of my own here and there, I have come up with what I consider to be the greatest tasty treat since Heinz released their very own chocolate pud. Yes, this is the Heinz of brownies.
Ok. So let’s get onto preparing for this microwave miracle. Firstly you are going to make sure you have a microwave, preferably in working condition. Then you will need something to mix and cook your brownie in. Using a small mixing bowl for the combining of ingredients, and then for the cooking my favourite thing to use is a small, deep coffee mug; but using a small mixing bowl will be suitable too. Make sure any item you use to cook the brownie in is microwavable (avoid anything with metal on). The use of a deep mug or bowl is so you are able to achieve a luscious gooey centred brownie. I also find that when

For the ingredients you’ll need your favorite brownie mix, soft butter to grease the pan, two eggs, ¼ cup of water and ¾ cup of vegetable oil for cookware. You’ll also need a metal or glass pan 13”x 9” and a mix bowl. Next, preheat your oven to a temperature of 350F. Grease the bottom of your glass or metal pan with the soft butter. Then put the brownie mix into the mixing bowl. Put the oil in first and mix it in with the brownie mix and stir with a spoon. Next is the egg; put the eggs in the bowl and continue stirring the mix some more. After that is the water. Put the water into the mix and stir. Keep stirring until the mix is blended well. Pour the mix into pan and spread lightly and evenly until all of the mix is in the pan. Put the pan in the oven and set the timer for 30 mins. Once the brownies finish baking, refrigerate for 15 mins or until set. Then cut into bars using a knife coated with no-stick cooking spray.…

Typically a story on the topic of race would have rich educated white adults attacking or discriminating against poor uneducated black adults, but “Brownies” offers a different perspective. Packer disregards the usual method for a story of this type. She includes racial stereotypes about appearance and language only to shows how ridiculous they are. She even changes the roles of victim and attacker in order to demonstrate that the people are not that different and that hatred is pointless.…

“Brownies” is the tale of a tyrannical dictator that through manipulation, intimidation, and bullying forces her group of foolish followers into almost fighting with a harmless, inculpable group of delayed learners. Through claiming Daphne, the most innocent and respected member of their Brownie Troop, was called a “nigger” by Troop 909, Arnetta ensures the cooperation of the entire group of young girls in fighting against what they depict as a racist, privileged, evil group of white girls. However, the sudden discovery in the bathroom that the girls are “delayed learners” and mentally disabled, quickly reverses the perspectives on the two troops. Previously, Laurel’s Brownie Troop acted like and was depicted as the victims, insulted by the…

In the article “Blogs and Democratization”, John Vivian talks about how anyone can make a blog and express their opinion especially about polities and also influence people. A lot of people today have blogs because it’s affordable and it’s easy to access. Although before the new gatekeeping rule, blogging had no code of conduct. They would keep stories “alive that’ve been played out. They inform the public about anything whether it’s a fact or not. Anyone can be a blogger, the internet is a mass communication tool anything anyone post can go viral just by the click of a bottom. For example bloggers kept the presidential candidate John Kerry and his office intern affair alive. Nobody could not ignore what was said and Kerry and his intern…

Cinnamon buns! A truly delectable treat that makes the world spin 360 degrees. It's hard to find someone who doesn't like a good sticky bun in today's society. And those who don't are called hipsters and are generally hated. We don't hate them just because of their cardigans and scarfs. No they think they're better than everyone else and therefore are disliked widely. But back on topic, sticky buns are simply scrumptious. With the perfect mixture of dough and cinnamon, people have been known to have a moment of pure ecstasy as the brain releases chemicals into the part of the brain that lets us know we are enjoying something quite pleasurable. Cinnamon buns are for everyone and anyone! Old people, young people, cougars, kids. They do not discriminate towards race, religion or creed. Everyone experiences the same pleasure when eating these warm little treats. But how people like their sticky buns is a whole different question. Although some people like them cold, they tend to go rock hard much quicker thus needing to put them in the microwave for no more than 20 seconds. Anymore, and you have to wait for it to cool down before you eat it. And less, and that gooey goodness won't fall apart in your mouth properly. It is truly an art that takes time and practice to hone like a sharp knife. The microwave can even solve the situation of slightly stale sticky buns! Why they are stale is a question in itself because who could wait so long to eat this fantastic pastry?! As you can imagine, when butter, cinnamon and sugar are all mixed together, something magical happens.…
