Introduction

Not one day in our society goes by without someone taking the life of themselves. Suicide has become one of the biggest problems in this time. It stands as the third leading cause of death in the people aged 15-24 ("Definitions: Self-directed Violence"). There are various reason behind why these acts may take place. There are several types of suicides as well. The reactions because of the acts of suicide affect some in different ways than others. Some take the blame for their loved ones life taken by their own hands. Although this issue has been silenced in the past, there has been many organizations created to try to prevent these actions from taking place. There also organizations for the victims of suicide of a family member or friend for support of each other.
Background
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines suicide as the act or an instance of taking one’s own life voluntarily and intentionally especially by a person of years of discretion and of sound mind. Suicide even dates back to the Bible, “Be not over much wicked, neither be you foolish: why should you die before your time?”(Ecclesiastes 7:17). Time can be a major factor of suicide. The longer something bothers that person, the longer it stays on their mind and begins to take over their life. It may start off as simple irritation or state of uneasiness, but over time with the lack of help needed, they can feel defeated by what could be seen as something little to others.

Common Reasons In all age groups, men commit suicide successfully more than women. However, females are more likely to attempt suicide than males do. Together, white males and white females accounted for over 90% of all suicides. In teenagers, the
