Engro Corporation Limited is one of Pakistan’s largest conglomerates. It has diverse businesses that represent the rich legacy of innovation and growth. Engro Foods is one of the unrelated diversification of Engro Corporation Limited which is going towards growth very rapidly.

Asad Umar is the President of Engro Corporation Limited since January 2004, the Chairman of all Engro subsidiaries and joint ventures. He quotes that:
“The leadership challenge is simple. It is to maximize the probability of each member of the organization getting as close to their ultimate potential as possible”
Afnan Ahsan is the Chief Executive Officer and president of Engro Foods Limited since 2011. Engro’s Board of Directors includes eight non-executive directors and five executive directors, who share the collective responsibility of ensuring that the affairs of the organization are managed competently and with integrity. The Executive Committee headed by the President & CEO Engro Corporation includes the corporate functional heads of Human Resource and Finance & CEOs of all Engro Corporation subsidiaries. The committee meets to discuss performance appraisals and annual business plans.

What we are now?
Engro Foods Limited was officially launched as a fully owned subsidiary of Engro in 2004. By means of dairy as a stepping stone to enter into the food business, Engro Corporation has established state-of-the-art processing units in Sukkur and Sahiwal, along with an ice cream production facility in Sahiwal. The plant located at Sukkur on 23 acre land, has the raw milk reception capability of 300,000 liters per day and UHT milk capacity of 200,000liters per day. The plant has been established at a cost of Rs. 1 billion which provides direct employment to 750 people.
Dairy Products of Engro Foods Limited includes, Olpers Milk, Olpers Cream, Olpers Lite, Omore Ice cream, Tarang, Owsum Flavored Milk, Olfrute etc.
