Entrepreneur background report
1. INTRODUCTION
This report is about an interview with an entrepreneur based in Hai Duong, Mr. Nguyen Van Vien, and what I can learn after the conversation with him.
On his trip to Ho Chi Minh city, I got a chance to arrange an interview with Mr. Nguyen Van Vien and I was able to understand more about the world of entrepreneurs, what it’s like to be an entrepreneur with many gains and losses.

2. BUSINESS BACKGROUND
Mr. Nguyen Van Vien is currently the Director of Minh Truong Son Joint-stock company and Chairman of 5/4 Co-operative. He was also the former Chairman of the Boards of Hoa Binh Livestock Company and the former Deputy managing director of Hanoi poultry Import Export Joint-stock Company.

3. ENTREPRENEUR BACKGROUND
Mr. Vien was born and raised in Thai Binh province, which is also called “the granary” of North Vietnam. His childhood was full of the memories about the rice fields and the poverty, with his parents, relatives and neighbors who worked in the farm all day for every day in their whole lives. His hometown is also one of the places where the number of the Catholics is highest in Vietnam. Carried the dream of escaping from the poverty since he was young, he left his hometown for university alone in the age of 18 with the major of Accountancy in the Academy of Finance in Hanoi. At the time, there were not so many people – especially people from the poor area like him – could enroll in a university in Hanoi. After four years of studying, he graduated and instead of staying in Hanoi to work in a state agency, he returned to Thai Binh. Working in his hometown, he wanted to be near his parents, relatives, friends, neighbors and the parish, since his family is Catholic.
After a while, he was dispatched to work in Hai Phong province, teaching Accountancy in the vocational school of food and nutrition service in Do Son. As a lecturer, he got married and had the first child before starting his business plans.
Although his major was not about

Chung displays an arduous tone as he relays a new perspective of the Vietnam War. This ardor demonstrates the passion and love which had fueled the sacrifices of the Chung family and allowed them to stay alive and together throughout the devastating war. Their perseverance, motivated by love and respect of family, is the main component which drives Chung’s story with intensity and earnest. Not only is the family genuine in their love and respect for each other, but the passion and fervent desire to do anything for any relative truly encompass the memoir and bolster Chung’s theme of perseverance, family, and success amidst a time of war.…
