The movie “Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves” can be considered an epic movie because it exhibits the following; Bravery, impossible feats, and strength. During the tale that is woven in this story it is reasonable to see Robin, the main character, being a thief, although he does not do so out of greed and self gain but instead in charity. Charity being the giving back to the poor townsfolk after they are constantly antagonized by the Baron, the antagonist of the story.

Luridly when they make their arrival at the castle of Robin’s lineage they find out that his father is dead and hanging from the rafters of the castle’s ceiling, scorched, and breathless. Furthermore this leads to Robin declaring “ I will not go home until my father is avenged”- [Robin]. After remaining true to his pledge, the now landless, former castle dweller makes a curt route to the castle of his once ally Lady Dubois, in which she even attempts to assassinate him, inevitably though he stands against all odds and prevails after the lady claimed he “stole her horses”. After a brisk run from the Baron’s troops, Robin now has made his way to the forest, and manages to prove us wrong again by defeating and even doing the impossible deed of befriending a group of bandits that took up camp in the Sherwood Forest. During his stay there though he makes a small village and is now a highwayman himself, although it is for the greater good of the terrorized townsfolk in a village nearby. From this he is able to do some truly impossible feats like training feeble villagers into skilled archers, or even “stealing 5 million pounds in the last week”- [Accountant to Baron]. From this is it plausible to conclude that he is epic by means of completing impossible
