Epidemiologists: A Career As A Radiographers
Radiographers are allied health professionals that use medical imaging, such as x-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy amongst others, to diagnose, monitor and treat a patient's illness or injury. They are considered the first responders of a patient's experience when they need medical assistance. Radiographers are trained to handle the complex machines in a responsible and safe manner, as well as read the images, interpret them to and with physicians, and explain procedures to patients while making them feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
Epidemiologists are amongst the higher paid professionals in public health. An epidemiologist studies the patterns and causes of disease and injuries. Their main goal is to help decrease negative health
