In a society where everyone seems to feel like a victim and justifies their feelings with videos and social media rants, a realistic problem facing women in the work force in the Wage Gap battle. This is a battle that has been going on for years. Although it has improved, many women are still struggling to be as equal as the man.

such as: Retail and big businesses from cities sometimes won’t get paid as an equal, and sometimes the boss of a job can be biased to the people that have to work for them.
The current wage ratio of women to men as of October 20, 2015 varied by age, gender, race, and ethnicity are that the women earn a weekly median of $721 and for the men they earn a weekly median of $889, but back then the wages were average in the 1700’s and the 1800’s they were way lower than what they are today.
Wage Gap because of occupation and not because of different genders is one of the reasons that people think certain genders get paid differently is because it always happens to the same type of people every year, but the real problem that we don’t know is that it’s our fault because of the occupation that we choose they may treat their employees differently than other businesses or company’s would treat their workers and they would do that paying them in different amounts of money.
The addition of technology could be another reason why you would get paid a less wage amount or even lose your job because they wouldn’t need their workers anymore because when they have a machine or a computer to do everything a human can do why would they need to hire you and pay you their money when they can study make money and don’t have to pay you.
Wage Gap by discrimination is because the owners of the company don’t like a certain race or they type of person that they have hired and they have no choice but to hire you so they just pay you a low amount of money for the job.
Wage Gap in our community slowly rises, so the women’s national committee policy has estimated that no women would be able to receive an equal amount of pay until 2058 and as of today, women are trying to make a solution to why the Wage Gap for women gets lower every
year.
The Canadian public policy as the decision and advisor makers in the business organization and the governments and policy researchers try to find information about the Wage Gap, because On average women earn less than 2/3 as much as men. Women earn less because the labor market differs from productive capacities than men. The gender pay gap is defined as the difference between the median earnings of women and men. This can be either the earnings ratio or the actual pay gap.
In our society the women of today’s world get paid 75 cents to a man’s dollar because many Americans can’t help it being that way because our society is set up they just have to obey by what happens and deal with it till the problem gets solved.
