Eragon The Dragon Rider
Many people are not who they actually appear to be. In the book Brisingr, by Christopher Paolini, Eragon, a Dragon Rider, turns into one of the legends of the land, which he protects dutifully. Everyone thinks of Eragon as one of the bravest men on the lands. Eragon appears to be tough on the surface, but is actually really emotional. On the outside, Eragon seems like the strong, brave role model, but he has gone through difficult challenges to get there. Eragon can be compared to a lion because lions are the most feared predators on the savanna, but they weren’t always this way. Lions are born tiny, inexperienced, and defenseless. Eragon used to be a farm-boy, but after finding a dragon egg, he turns into one of the land’s greatest heroes

Eragon is like an egg because an egg has a hard, solid outside, its protection and its disguise. But, once it’s broken, it's liquid yolk falls out and will not hold together; The egg will collapse and will fall apart. On page 474, Eragon tells Arya how he feels about her only to get rudely rejected. When he tells her, all Arya only says that she thanks him for saving her life a few times and that they will never be closer than friends. After this event, Eragon suffers from what he calls heartbreak and feels like there he has no reason to fight for freedom from the tyranny they live in anymore. (Paolini 474) Here, Eragon, like the egg, can holds his hard shell together but cannot to after he gets rejected. Now, there are cracks inside of the egg and the yolk runs out and the egg falls apart like Eragon. Also, Eragon is like Hulk because they both want to be normal. After Bruce Banner gets affected by gamma rays and turns into a monster superhero, he wished nothing more than to be just a normal person. Eragon wants to be normal so he can live a normal life with a normal relationship like a marriage relationship. On page 34, Eragon says to his cousin, ‘“But if you avoid those dangers, you will live forever.” “If I do, then yes. Saphira and I will endure.” “It seems both a blessing and a curse.” “Aye. I cannot in good conscience marry a woman who will age and die while I remain untouched by time; such an
