The Battle of Gettysburg was by far the bloodiest battle in American History and ultimately changed the outcome on the Civil War. During the first year and a half the Confederates succeeded with many major victories against the Union Army. However, the Battle of Gettysburg became a great turning point of the war. The battle itself lasted for three days and decisions made by both the Confederates and the Union led to one of the highest casualty wars in history.…

    Typology Test

In the Myers-Briggs Type indicator/Jung’s Typology Test results I scored ENFJ, which stands for extrovert, intuitive, feeler, and judger. These results seem extremely accurate to me. I do enjoy spending time with people, talking to them, and trying my best to understand them. People fascinate me yet I find it difficult to open up to the people around me, which is a common characteristic among ENFJ’s. Being intuitive, I tend to look at the big picture rather than detail. I rely on my gut rather than my conscious. As a feeler, the decisions I make tie in with the values I grew up learning, leading with my heart and naturally gravitate towards people. Lastly, as a judger, I am super organized! Having a preference towards planned and settled activities.…

My MBTI type is ESFP, which means I prefer extraversion, sensing, feeling, and perceiving. To me, extraversion means that I like to hang-out with others and be a social butterfly. Sensing means that I like to see what is real, to then observe and gather information so that I can make the best decision/conclusion for myself. Feeling, that I do not like it when we are all treated the same, I like to see people as individuals and follow my moral code to be the best person I can be for myself and others. Perceiving means that I am open minded…

Generally a person that falls under ENFJ, usually has great interpersonal skills, enjoys helping others, and does great at multitasking. I have always had the passion of helping others. That is one of the reason I decided to major in Christian Counseling. Since I was a child I have always been taken pride on doing things on my own without needing help. One thing that stuck out to me as I read about my type of personality was being vulnerable to getting your feelings hurt by others. Since I was in grammar school, I can recall being very sensitive. I always cared about how others viewed me and what they thought of me.…

Personality is a set of behaviors, attitudes, feelings, and ways of thinking that are unique to an individual. My personality traits are unlike others because they are unique in my own way. Around my friends I am outgoing, but around people I don’t know I am shy, timid, and I keep to myself. I have a lot of trust in my friends and family and am nicer when I am around them. I am dependable, responsible, and generally good natured for the most part.…

After taking the Myer’s Briggs assessment, I learned I have a personality type ISFP(Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving), and the second closest type ESFP (Extraverted, Sensing, feeling, Perceiving). I took this assessment several years ago and my type was INTP(introverted, intuitive, thinking, perceiving), so I am a little suspicious that either I have changed, or the test isn’t that accurate. IN some respects I am an ISFP, and I agree that extroversion and introverison are two sides to my personality. The description on the website (myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/mbti-basics/the-16-mbti-types.asp#ISFP) fits me perfectly, such as being quite and friendly, like having my own space, and prefer to work within my own time frame. I also dislike conflict and disagreements, but INTP also reflects my personality because most of the time I am interested more in solitude than social interaction. I am also very skeptical , critical, and try to analyze everthing. ESFP also describes me because I am friendly, but I am not outgoing, and I have a hard time being flexible. I do love life, and I am for the most part very accepting of people, but I do not adapt…

First I took the personaily test that stated that my personality type is ENTJ. For me to obtain an understanding of my personality type, it is important for me to develop an interpretation of the meaning of ENTJ. Briefly, the ‘E’ refers to Extroversion (vs. Introversion), which means that I am outgoing and tend to focus on the outer world of people and things. The ‘N’ refers to Intuitive (vs. Sensing), which means my interests lie in relationships, and I focus on the future with a view towards patterns and possibilities. The ‘T’ refers to Thinking (vs. Feelings), which means I tend to base decisions primarily on thinking things through instead of emotions. The ‘J’ refers to Judging (vs. Perceptive), which means I prefer to approach life in a more planned and organized manner and like to have things settled. On an overall perspective, as an EFTJ, I am a warm, empathetic, responsive, and responsible person. I am highly attuned to the emotions, needs, and motivations of others. I look to find potential and good in everyone, and I enjoy helping others to fulfill their potential. I can be a catalyst for individual and group growth, as I am loyal and responsive to praise and criticism. I am sociable, a good facilitator to others in a group and can provide inspiring leadership.…

    Personality Paper

Who would have thought that such a little booklet could contain such personal and accurate information about each individual’s personality simply by filling in bubbles to answer simple multiple-choice questions? Upon first glance, I thought that “The Keirsey Temperament Sorter” would never be able to correctly depict my personality. However, I still managed to fill out the questionnaire in a careful and truthful manner despite my convictions. After taking the personality questionnaire, my results showed my personality type falling under the category “Idealist” as an ESFP. To my surprise, I found this to be quite similar to how I would describe my own personality type. By further research, I determined that ESFP actually stands for extraversion, sensing, feeling and perceiving. The description described an ESFP as a friendly person who helps others enjoy life. Also, it stated that they tend to make warm and enthusiastic friends and are more likely to pay attention to details and value a realistic approach to solving problems. Taking into my major in nursing at MSU, I decided to research if this would fit my ESFP personality type. After reading the ESFP description more thoroughly it gave several career suggestions such as nursing, child care, restaurant work, sales and counseling. Also, it mentioned that ESFP’s look for a job that is fun and prefer to work with others in groups.…
