Throughout the class, I was able to learn and develop this outcome. At the beginning of the semester, this concept was foreign to me, however, by the end of the semester, I knew how to accurately interpret and why this was so important to writing. This development of skill is seen in my S2 rhetorical analysis essay. It addresses the tone, style, format, and structure in the ted talk presentation, and how it applies to its message directed toward different audiences depending if they were present during the live Ted Talk, or if it was watched over a video. Implications of this academic outcome in a practical term is present in the S4 presentation project on Medical Marijuana. The tone was set at a lighter note, the style was cheerier, the format was colorful and organized, perfectly laid out to peak the interests of younger adults on a matter that might not be interesting enough if the information was not set out in that particular
