Role, responsibilities and boundaries
In order for learning to be effective a tutor must follow the training/learning cycle. The format covers each area required to complete the process of achieving a qualification.. Each point in the cycle needs to be addressed throughout the course and a through understanding of the cycle is essential in order for learning to be effective.

Plan and design

Evaluate.

Roles
The main role of the teacher is to teach a subject affectively in order for a learner to achieve a qualification. The teacher should facilitate communication in such a way that all individuals will retain maximum knowledge of the subject taught. Other roles of a tutor include

Ensuring the course content is up to date and in accordance with current laws and legislations. Tests will be performed and measured to evaluate the efficiency of the course content and overall qualification achievement.
