The people of Anderson are the problem. The crime rate in Anderson is fairly high and it is the people’s fault. From drug and meth dealers, junkies, criminals, robbery, etc. Anderson is full of it to the point it is actually absurd how often these crimes show up on the news. These things are the people’s fault it isn’t just the lax police force, but how the people think and behave. Yes the lax police force has a factor in it, but it is not the complete problem. Getting back to the crime rate the most common, seems to be drug related crimes.

From meth labs in residential neighborhoods to people growing pot in their basements and much more. A house in the old Belmont district, for example, has housed three meth labs in the past three years alone. Not to mention the stoners that also live there and their kids who smoke pot at the bus stop before school. Selling prescriptions and food stamps for drugs or money to buy drugs such as pot or meth. This is only scratching the surface of the problems of Anderson
Their decisions, their judgements, faith, ideals, etc all contribute to it and fuel it. Even the way they are raised and taught around here it seems as if morals, common sense, and how people think things should be is mixed up. What is right and just is wrong and unethical and what is wrong or unethical is right and normal or just. What most people would see as wrong or unfair to others people here think absolutely nothing about it. Not letting someone across the street or pass you on the road and just sit in front of you going faster if you try to pass them. Walking down the middle of the road or even running across in the middle of a rush of traffic. There is no common sense and it isn’t just Anderson that is like this everywhere is like this. No one has any limits or common sense anymore guiding them and keeping them a decent human
