Confederate Flag
Do you think the Confederate Flag is a symbol of hate or racism? I personally think it is a symbol of hate or racism. In the next three to four paragraphs I will explain to you why I think the Confederate Flag isn’t a symbol of hate or racism. I hope either you learn something about the Confederate Flag in the next three paragraphs as I support the decision I just will be making.
I personally think the Confederate Flag is not a symbol of hate or racism is because it was used in the battle field and, if it is supposedly a symbol of hate or racism now then why didn’t symbol racism or hate while it was flying in war. It is just another flag that has red, white, and blue, which represents the same colors as the American Flag. I think it is not a symbol of hate or racism because I don’t see how a simple flag can be racist or hate, it’s the people who have the flag that are either racist or hating. It is not the flag it is the people, so why take the flag down when they should be taking down the people or arresting them.
The whole reason everyone is saying the Confederate Flag is a symbol of hate or racism is because one white man went to an all-black church and shot some people and stood over them with the flag. The Reason I support the Confederate Flag is because I have two that I have hanging up in my room and soon to be hanging on my pickup when I drive around. I support the Confederate Flag just like I support the American Flag. They both are about our country and I have no reason to hate the Confederate Flag because it hasn’t done any harm to me and same as the American Flag. I personally think it is a cool flag and I will support it until it does harm to me or my family but until then I will be flying my two
