APTA (2016) defines evidence-based practice as “access to, and application and integration of evidence to guide clinical decision-making to provide best practice for the patient/client”. Health practitioners can use research-based evidence combined with clinical expertise in determining the quality of care that they can impart to the individual patient/client. According to Bacon, et al. Because the internet is accessible in my workplace, I could search the literature every time I have questions about certain interventions. Yet, in some instances because of busy workloads, I would rather make a rational analysis of a treatment plan to carry out based on my prior experience and ask colleagues for decision-making. In this scenario, I would say that lack of time is the main barrier that limits my practice related to literature search evidence, and instead I would resort to following clinical protocols to address the patient’s problem right away. I would say that it is difficult to practice literature based evidence regularly. But this will not stop me from improving my skills and knowledge because I believe that relevant information in education, clinical and research communities are constantly being updated, and in order to be at par with the trend, I must continue learning to be a better clinician practicing based on
