• From my understanding of health disparities and health care disparities it has been an issue for a while and it does exist. This issue mostly occurs among racial ethnicity, homeliness, none English speaking patients, poor and lower-class families because these people are more than likely to have none or little social support.

Fernandez that bad systems, bad doctors, bad science, and bad history all causes disparities in healthcare. To understand patients that is seeking help I think it is very important to understand his or her historical background before assisting their needs.
• Also, I agree with her that we need better doctors and different doctors to eliminate disparities in health. However, to solve this issue, I believe it is necessary to eliminate unequal burdens in health status. By eliminating unequal burdens, I believe it can strengthen existing solutions and policy formation related to this issue. This is my view on how to eliminate disparities in healthcare.
• By listening to the patient story carefully and mindfully one can assess social vulnerabilities and identify points of resilience that can be the secrets to providing better quality care. I believe the care provided by a physician uncover all kinds of social vulnerabilities within the patients.
