Essay On Home Care Agency

I would like to take this opportunity to share a little bit about my journey, and how it leads me to owning my own home care agency! I am a Registered Nurse, with several years in the home health care industry. I began in the 80's as a Home Health Aide. As I continued my education and worked as a Nurse in the field I truly love, I realized a sad, but true pattern across the various agencies I worked with; many making it about numbers, I learned what to do, and what NOT to do early on in my field days. My focus is to make my agency about "quality", not numbers.

It’s simple, make it about helping our frail and most in need live their days with dignity and in the comfort of their own homes, and neighborhoods they love. What I saw special early on working in home care, was the bonds and relationships you develop working side by side with the families, those moments and opportunities have helped me find my way to be able to own my own home care agency, and be the advocate our vulnerable aging seniors and disabled that need an advocate with integrity and
I just wanted to take this opportunity to highlight "what makes my agency different" It is not a lot of "glitz and glamor", We are about joining our consumers and their loved ones, and working together to ensure their home care needs are met and delivered by caring, compassionate reliable caregivers. These caregivers are screened and our model ensures administration stays close to the pulse, of our outcomes exceeding expectations. We are just about "doing the right thing, and knowing little things go a long way. I have seen how special home care can be full circle many times, and am excited that i can now control the quality from A-Z. We are about connecting and providing quality of life that is focused on "what our consumers can do", not what they have lost and cannot do.
