They are a group of people, who share the same ideas about how the country should be governed. These groups of people work together to make new laws then alter old laws. The political party I am most aligning with is the Democratic Party, and my mom aligns with the same. Why, because at a point in time Democrats stood up for things like civil rights, women rights, social security and health care. Democrats are liberals; they want to be a part of our “public” life but not our “private,” example, Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton is a famous liberal because she is trying to pass policies like eliminating tuition for in-state student at public colleges for those families making less than $125,000 a year, passing comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship that keep families together, fighting for equal pay, keeping middle- classes taxes the same, and increase federal minimum wage . A liberal are those who are willing to help others get jobs, get you through school some kind of way. Liberal wants freedom; they do not want to be constrained by moral values, they want the government to provide programs for everyone.
Unlike a liberal there are conservatives. Conservatives wants to be a part of our “private” life but not our “public.” Conservatives are considered Republicans, not that I am against Republicans but they are totally different
