Harper Lee reveals though Lula, people would rather follow their biases and prejudice, rather than the truth. This is shown when Francis commented “Grandma says it’s bad enough he lets yo all run wild, but now he turned out a ******-lover we’ll never be able to walk the streets of maycomb. He’s ruinin’ the family, that’s what he’s doing”(110). This shows that someone being prejudice can happen in your family whether or not it’s against you.
