Essay On The Dying Of The American Dream

The American Dream is slowly dying The “American Dream” a very popular saying used to show a family or person living a very well life in the U.S. This saying is used either seriously or as a joke from another person to show that they are struggling either in taxes or something else. The American Dream is possible to achieve, but it is very hard. As taxes and other problems with money that the U.S suffers the American Dream is going away slower and slower from the average person. The state of the American Dream is slowly dying from the eyes and heart of all Americans due to death of a person, unwillingness of another person, and the growing taxes of the government.

The American Dream is one of the most wanted goals to achieve because “America was truly a new world, a place where one could live one’s life and pursue one’s goals unburdened by older societies’ prescribed ideas of class, caste, and social hierarchy”(David Kamp, paragraph 16). With this statement in mind it shows that the American Dream can be obtained, but it will take time and effort for one to achieve this goal of the American Dream.
