Thats why we need to legalize Gay marriage throughout the US.

Legalizing same sex marriage has many benefits including economical, it can also create many new opportunities that might have not been there before.

Exclusion of same-sex attracted people from marriage also sends out the message that discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation is acceptable.

There is a substantial body of Australian social research which shows the vulnerability of same-sex attracted people to prejudice, discrimination and unequal treatment.
These surveys have consistently found that same-sex attracted people experience unacceptably high levels discrimination in the workplace, discrimination in other aspects of their lives including at school and in their families, and hate-motivated assault. Studies have also directly linked bans on same-sex marriages to higher levels of discrimination.

The way that some people look at it is, if the government can say they don’t have to be treated like a human being, why cant I? and thats where the root of it is. How are we supposed to change how they feel when, The Government acts the same way.

Although the Marriage Equality Act guarantees that the right to civil marriage extends to same-sex couples, it does not require churches or ministers to perform religious marriage ceremonies for same-sex couples. However, more and more religious institutions are allowing their clergy to marry same-sex couples.

Now that, same sex marriage is legal in New York, their are still people that can discriminate you, but I feel as if people are beginning to come around to the idea and begin to accept it. It all starts with the root of it all, and thats the US federal government. !

Discrimination can be caused by the government denying a human their basic rights, so once they are lauded it, I believe people will begin to change.

Calling something marriage does not make it marriage. Marriage has always been a covenant between a man and a woman which is by its nature ordered toward the procreation and education of children and the unity and wellbeing of the spouses.


The promoters of same-sex “marriage” propose something entirely different. They propose the union between two men or two women. This denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and psychological differences between men and women which find their complementarity in marriage. It also denies the specific primary purpose of marriage: the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children.

I understand, the biologically, a man and woman is need to pro create, but there many other alternative options in order to attain a chid. Just because you are of the same sex, doesn't mean that you wouldn't be a good parent. Sometimes, its for the best, because, if you were to adopt, you could save a child from the terrible life they could have had, and give them the world and then some.

This is the most important reason. Whenever one violates the natural moral order established by God, one sins and offends God. Same-sex “marriage” does just this.
Accordingly, anyone who professes to love God must be opposed to it.
 Marriage is not the creature of any State. Rather, it was established by God in Paradise for our first parents, Adam and Eve. As we read in the Book of Genesis: “God created man in His image; in the Divine image he created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them, saying: ‘Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.’” (Gen. 1:28-29)
 The same was taught by Our Savior Jesus Christ: “From the beginning of the creation,
God made them male and female. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall cleave to his wife.” (Mark 10:6-7).
 Genesis also teaches how God punished Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of homosexuality: “The Lord rained down sulphurous fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah.
He overthrew those cities and the whole Plain, together with the inhabitants of the cities and the produce of the soil.” (Gen. 19:24-25)

Although, some have opinions that may contrast with mine, I still believe that the marriage between the same gender should be legalized. if feel like the cliche “love conquers all” can back me up with my previous statement.

Marriage equality is a big social issue in this day and age, which in my opinion shouldn't be. What matters is love, and all of the amazing things that comes along with it, so that is why same sex marriage should be legalized throughout the US.
