Planting Mucunabraecteata is one of the major worked in oil palm replanting area. The cover crop main function is to avoid soil erosion and improving overall soil health. Firstly, before it is can be transplanted to the field, the Mucunabraecteata nursery has to be established. Mucunabraecteata propagation at the nursery can be tedious and messy work. INTRODUCTION
Cover crop is important in the field involve with replanting of oil palm. It is one of the good agriculture practiced. Mucunabraecteata planted excessively in almost all plantation sectorsunder replanting program. Mucunabreacteta can produces large amounts of organic matter through its litter mulch and thus rebuilds poor, degraded soil by enriching them with mulch (Hoy, 2007). Hoy (2007) stated that Mucunabraecteata can prevent Rhinoceros beetle damage to 93%. On the other hand, it provides a moist environment for oil palm residues to decompose faster. Hence, the importance of establishing Mucuna breacteata cannot be avoided.
Today, estate managers must have at least a one particular small nursery area. The small nursery area functions as propagation of Mucuna breacteata(Figure 1), beneficial plant and jungle trees ( plant at river bank/ riparian zone – RSPO). According to John Mason

An expanding human population has led to increased farming and accelerated soil erosion. When the soil has a low capacity to retain water, farmers must pump groundwater up and spray it over crops. The local water table will eventually fall. This water depletion can impact native vegetation in the area and have been doing this for several years. Agroforestry is a method of cultivating both crops and trees on the same land. Farmers plant agricultural crops between the rows of tree that generate income during the time it take the trees to grow mature enough to produce earnings from nuts or lumber. There are four tiers to follow for successful agricultural crops.…

Mulching is a simple process that increases soil fertility and regulating several factors affecting overall plant growth. In this method, a layer of material-the mulch-is placed on soil surface around the plant. The mulch is used to retard the growth of weeds, protect roots and stems from sudden or extreme temperature changes, reduce soil erosion by wind and water, retard runoff of rainfall, prevent soil puddling by breaking the impact of raindrops, and keep flowers and fruits from being spattered with mud during…
