Facility Background
St. Chadwick General Hospital was built and inaugurated in the year 2013. Since then, the corporation has been proud to provide quality care with the highest of ethical standards, and integrity. With the combination of a strong code of ethics, high levels of integrity, and the addition of compassion, St. Chadwick General Hospital staff members provide guaranteed satisfactory service to the community. To achieve the compulsory standard of conduct, each new employee is required to participate in the corporation’s Ethical Compliance Program (ECP). This educational program provides the necessary training to achieve ethical excellence. With the combination of training videos, seminars, and roll playing, each staff member (management and subordinate alike) will be equipped to manage any situation with a strong sense of ethical integrity.
To better assist each employee with their training process, this booklet will provide a summary of the policies, laws involved, and the required behavior necessary to comply with the company’s ethical code of conduct. This material is a reading requirement for each employee, and a crucial part of the ECP; each staff member will be provided with a copy of St. Chadwick’s Ethical Code of Conduct. Moreover, if any employee feels that these policies or regulations violate any rights, laws or freedoms, he/she has the right to communicate such concerns with the legal department and his/her direct supervisor. Furthermore, each employee will have the obligation to report any and all safety, ethical, and/or legal violations observed or committed. Otherwise, rebuke, termination, and/or legal punitive action may be taken.
To facilitate reporting, several methods will be made available to each member of the hospital staff, and those in affiliation with St.
