Taking into consideration one’s personal ethics, or morals, and the regulations set forth by the owners of a business the decisions of unethical practices must be scrutinized in order to follow both positive and natural law. According to Armstrong and Kotler (2015) “a motive is a need that is sufficiently pressing to direct the person to seek satisfaction of the need” (p. 172). Peas and Potatoes Child Care Center is a business that has a high priority in the attainment of knowledge for young people. Therefore, for all employees, the essential necessity is the growth of young minds and the motive is seeking satisfaction from their growth. A goal for all employees of Peas and Potatoes Child Care Center would be to reach not only the minds of today but also those of tomorrow; as well as nurture the growth and development of the youth in the local community.
