Ethics Should Be Taught In Colleges And Universities
I totally agree that ethics should be taught in colleges and universities! Ethics is clearly a huge part of accounting but also in society in general I feel like no one is ethical anymore. I really don’t understand why people think ethics can’t be taught or is considered to be “useless”. Were young adults and students we don’t fully have values formed when we come into college we need to be taught some and I believe ethics should be one of those values. Socrates', the great philosopher, position on ethics was “Ethics consists of knowing what we ought to do, and such knowledge can be taught.” Therefore, we should be taught it.
