Introduction
Teens are unique and have habits that are very different than other age groups. They hang out in certain groups in their free time and attitudes change every day. To examine the actions of teenagers, an ethnography study was held at a local high school, Eagle Tech Academy, in two different locations, the commons area and the lunchroom. The point of the study was to compare the actions of students in the commons area vs. students in the lunchroom.

In both places, the environment was all group-based with a couple of people working individually. In the lunchroom, it appeared that most of the students were grouped with people they felt comfortable with and occasionally a school group would be working together during their lunch period. The commons area was mostly made up of school groups and friend groups depending on the day. The commons and the lunchroom both consisted of many groups but the lunchroom had more groups of friends because it was the students free
