When monitoring performance the supervisors aim is to check how staff are doing in relation to meeting targets and identify any areas of improvement so that solving problems can be done in the early stages, to prevent the process from being time consuming; it is essential to provide feedback to staff consistently to support them to make progress when reaching their goals.
