Ha fainted on the way there and had a emergency surgery. The doctor discovered the a blood clot had formed and that it exploded in his way to the hospital. My mother told me that if we had waited one more day, he’d probably wouldn’t make it. I know that this is not my story, but it affected my life after it. Seeing all these event up close made me realize how life is fragile, and how we need to LIVE it to the most. It also made me understand that my “problems” were no problems at all. So I stopped complaining about all these little things that I thought to be real issues. My first idea was to mobilize my class. Most of my friends knew what I was going through and helped me with my project. We called “8 D messages” (the 8 means I was on eight grade and D was my classroom letter). I gathered all my classmates and told them my father’s story and then I invited them to write little messages to make him feel better. At the end of the day we had more than 30 messages. I took the little book to my father, who was really touched after he read it. I am deeply thankful to all my friends and family members that helped me not just with the project, but to get over this traumatic experience. This definitely helped me form a new part of my identity. So, I believe that my identity certainly changed after those two experiences. They strengthened my relationships with my friends and family, increased my self-steam and gave me a new perspective about life. Today I consider
