The events that lead to the French and Indian war were a mixed variety of different things.
First, was the westward expansion. The westward expansion was when the English colonies were trying to move into the west. By 1840 nearly 7 million Americans had gone and migrated to the western area. The role of the Ohio river valley was when the British turned interests to this. The French people considered the Ohio river valley as their own land, therefore they didn’t want the British colonists sharing any land or resources. They also didn’t want the British colonists to share any profitable fur trade. This started a lot of disagreement and sparked part of the war. Doing this it helped them raid some of the British enemies. The role of the Iroquois started some of the war because they were a very powerful group. The Iroquois started playing the British and French peoples against each other. Doing this it started a lot of conflict and was a major cause of the war. The actions of the colonists caused part of the war to happen because there were two different groups of colonists that were having conflict on who was going to own that land. The building of the frontier forts cause some conflict because the Militia group of civilians were told to build their fort by the Ohio river, but when they arrived they found the French already building their forts there. The fort necessity also caused some problems or conflict that lead to this war. While unexperienced Washington decided to attack the French people their fort (fort necessity) was small.
