We feel as if we should be responsible for our own actions because in the third paragraph Ms.Ackerman is saying people throw the word love around like it is nothing. People are saying the word love just to say it, In paragraph three the author states many different things to prove that love doesn't get used with its full meaning and many people take love way to far. It states that in South American and European countries that murder is forgivable if it was "a crime of passion." Being in some countries you can kill someone as long as it is done with love is way too far to go.
